Ralph has been barbecuing and outdoor cooking for decades. Started in the 80's, like almost everyone in the Netherlands with the bacon, sausage and pork chop…! Then, at the end of the 80s, it was time for the next step: American grilling and the low & slow barbecue. (Ralph toured no fewer than 46 states of America with a band for years)! Ralph was immediately inspired by this and infected with the barbecue virus! After practicing this way of barbecuing for several years and explaining it to everyone who would listen, he discovered that there was much more to this way of barbecuing. After all, there are many more different barbecue and grill techniques in the world! Some a bit simpler, most a bit more complicated, sometimes even trivial, but often much more refined!
